RHODODENDRON WALKING FESTIVAL
This year’s festival presents ‘Under Galtee Skies’ with Jimmy Barry - author, mountaineer, Leave No Trace advocate (and much more). Jimmy will give a talk and presentation on the Galtee Mountains on Friday, 10th May at 8pm in Burncourt Community Hall, E21 X674. €10 (refreshments will be served).
KNOCKMEALDOWNS THROUGH THE YEARS
Nicholas Grubb of Dromana House and formerly of Castlegrace Estate, will relate the stories and history of the Knockmealdown Mountains on Friday, 17th May at Duhill Hall, E21 H677 at 8pm, €10. Refreshments will be served.
On Friday, 31st May a family friendly evening will take place at KillBallyboy Wood (better known as ‘the picnic site’). Konor The Clown will be attending with a variety of acts keeping everyone entertained.

Sun, June 2nd (Three different walks to choose from): A - The Challenge, B - The Rhododendron Loop, C - The Vee Valley downhill walk.

DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS (SAVE THE DATE)
A ‘Communicating Europe Initiative’ event will take place in Duhill Hall on Thursday, May 23rd at 7.30pm.
We have invited all prospective European candidates, along with Tipperary TDs, senators and local councillors. On the night there will be a Taste of Europe
Buffet, supplied by Eileen Condon. European candidates will be given an opportunity to outline the reasons to vote for them along with a question and answers segment afterwards. This is a free event, all welcome.
DAWN OF HOPE WALK
This event is on Saturday morning, May 11 - leaving Clogheen Hall at 4.15. All proceeds to promote local mental health initiatives in Clogheen and surrounding areas - PSST! Mental health U/matter. All are welcome to join us in the hall afterwards for refreshments. Donations greatly appreciated on the day.
CAHIR DAY CARE CENTRE
Coffee morning on Sunday next 9.3012.00 noon. Cake sale, plants, bric-a-brac and raffle. All proceeds go towards the running of the Day Care Centre.
Quiz night in aid of Ballylooby Tidy Villages on Saturday, May 12th at No 22 The Abbey. Raffle on the night.
