The next crews to hit the water were the women’s junior 14 doubles, women’s junior 15 coxed quad, the men’s junior 14 oct, and the men’s junior 18 doubles, all crews had great races. Our next winners of the day were racing in the women’s junior 16 double category, who had a great race and a great result, well done! (Aoife Clifford, Leah O’Shea).

The men’s junior 18 single sculls and the women’s junior 13 coxed quad were next to race and all crews raced with good time results but unfortunately didn’t place. The women’s master and women’s junior 14 coxed quad were out next and also had good races and were happy with their results. Another win for Fermoy came in the women’s junior 18 doubles, an amazing performance from our athletes in this race. (Tara Payne, Saoirse Barry).

As we came into the final stretch of the day, we launched the men’s junior 16 and 14 coxed quads, and the women’s masters doubles. The final winners of the day were the women’s junior 15 double who had an impressive race, well done girls! (Molly O’Donoghue, Clodagh O’Farrell). The last crews of the day to launch were two men’s junior 18 coxed quads, both crews performed well but did not place.
