Great performance from U13s
Ballygiblin U13s 2-16 Youghal 0-5
There was a great display from the Ballygiblin U13s in their match against Youghal last Sunday. Our boys got down to business right from the throw in. There was very good energy, teamwork and skills on show.
Things slowed a bit in the 2nd half however the lads were worthy winners. We were all very proud of all 20 players; Max Corbett, Sean McCarthy, Anthony Flynn, Eoin Keane, Thomas Whelan, Harry Finn, Noah Bernard, Cathal Meade, John Cleary, Brian Walsh, Noah Graham, Cillian Magee, Scott Kirby, Luke Sheehy, Rory McCarthy, MJ Keane, Cathal Cleary, Killian O’Grady, Aaron Horgan, Cathal Moher and Evan Holland. Thanks to all parents for your support.
POWERFUL DISPLAY FROM U14S
Ballygiblin U14 hurlers had a long journey to play St Marks in Meelin on Friday evening, 3rd May in the first round of the Championship. Ballygiblin secured the victory on a scoreline of 2-14 to 3-08.
They were made to fight the whole way by a determined and skilful side in St Marks. A first half goal in the first half by Jason Holland and a second half goal by Brian Walsh were crucial in the victory.
Scott Kirby kept the points coming with frees and play and we got over the line despite trailing St Marks by four points early in the second half. The team was Fionn Moher, Eoin Luddy, Jack Darrer Dalton, Harry Brennan, Micheál
Walsh, Kevin Cooke, Noah Bernard, Brian Walsh, James Walsh, Scott Kirby, Jason Holland, Micheal Murphy, Luke Slyne, John Connolly Murphy and Rory McCarthy. Subs: Cathal Meade, Luke Sheehy, Daire Burke, PJ Hogan, Max Corbett.

DOG FOULING
There have been a number of instances of dog fouling in the various pitches in the town over the recent past. Signs have been erected reminding walkers that dogs are not allowed on the pitches. Fouling poses a serious health risk to our players who are using these pitches on a weekly basis.
We would appreciate everybody's cooperation in showing consideration for others in the community.
