Utd’s last league game of the season was against Ballybridge Utd (2) A in Leonard Fraser Park. A great display of soccer from both teams but Brideview were the stronger team on the night. Some super goals from Maryam Hussaingada, Alfie Ahern and two from Adam Forbes made for a comfortable scoreline for the home team. Utds central midfield player and captain Jake Keniry played a pivitol role and consequently earned himself the man of the match award. A great win to finish a very successful league campaign.

Utd: Darragh Kenneally, Kasey

Henley, Edward Kaulius, Adam Forbes, Alfie Aherne, Philip Deegan, Maryam Hassingada, Mark Hegarty, Jack Barry, Jake Keniry and Sean Hogan.

What a great game we had here on Saturday morning. It took a penalty to decide the result. Sadly for Utd it fell to the visitors who took the lead from the penalty kick and held out for victory despite some great attacking moves from Utd’s players who never gave up. So Utd’s season comes to a close and a well deserved rest not only for the players but coaches Natalie Keniry and John Doyle.

Utd: E Kaulius, D Kenneally, J Barry, S Hogan, K Henley, P Deegan, A Forbes, A Aherne, M Hussaingada, J Keniry and A Doyle.
