Lu­ton Air­port is set to un­veil its ex­tended ter­mi­nal later this year as part of its £150mil­lion re­de­vel­op­ment. Work has also started on the £225mil­lion Lu­ton DART rail link be­tween the air­port and Lu­ton Air­port Park­way sta­tion, due to open in 2021.

Lon­don City Air­port has started work on its £480mil­lion four-year devel­op­ment which in­cludes an ex­panded ter­mi­nal, eight new air­craft stands and a par­al­lel taxi­way.

Birm­ing­ham air­port is re­de­vel­op­ing its se­cu­rity area to im­prove the pas­sen­ger jour­ney through its ter­mi­nal. A 178-room Hil­ton Gar­den Inn ho­tel opens this sum­mer.

Cardiff Air­port has un­veiled a re­designed Ex­ec­u­tive Lounge and a new busi­ness lounge, called 5100° Lounge, as part of a £4mil­lion in­vest­ment pro­gramme.

New­cas­tle Air­port has launched its Mas­ter­plan 2035, set­ting out how it will grow from 5.35 mil­lion pas­sen­gers per year cur­rently to 9.4 mil­lion by 2035.

Stansted Air­port has opened the first eight of 30 new check-in desks planned as part of its £600mil­lion re­de­vel­op­ment, trans­form­ing de­par­ture ar­eas, car park­ing and the air­field.

Manch­ester Air­port is plan­ning a £180mil­lion 'ho­tel dis­trict'. Four prop­er­ties adding 1,171 rooms will open by 2021.
