BOOST FOR EVENT BUDGETS

marketing budgets for events rose in the second quarter of the year, according to the IPA'S latest Bellwether Report, despite overall marketing budgets flatlining.

The net balance of marketing executives reporting a rise in events spending increased to +4.8% from +3.5% previously.

The figure is at its highest since the first quarter of 2018 and corroborat­es earlier forecasts that events budgets would grow over the 2019/20 financial year.
