FAMILY FRIENDLY FUN
GREEN FINGERED tips and expert DIY demo’s are just some of the highlights at Coop Superstores Mitchelstown’s Family Fun & Demo Day this Saturday.
Summer is on the way and with it comes the desire to freshen up both inside and outside spaces. With the success of these family friendly days recently held in Carrigaline, Mallow, Midleton and Raheen stores, Mitchelstown is next in line with a host of entertainment including facepainting, the real Dulux dog, garden demonstrations, power tool demonstrations and door busting offers.
Taking place this Saturday, 17th May, the family fun and demo day at the Mitchelstown store has something for the whole family and is not to be missed! Enjoy browsing their biggest ever garden and outdoor living range, while kids enjoy face painting and meeting the friendly Co- Op Superstores Cow (from 10-5pm).
A special highlight popular with young and old is the chance to have your picture taken with the real Dulux Dog between 12 and 2pm.
There are even more animal antics as Mitchelstown Co-op invites all their customers to come and meet some adorable farm animals – as they will have cute and cuddly lambs, rabbits, chicks & more between 10-5pm. All this great entertainment provides plenty of distraction for the young, and young at heart and is a chance for any DIY enthusiasts to steal away and take in live product demonstrations, and chat with the experts in relation to technical advice.
Highlights of the product demos will include Powerwasher and Powertool demo’s from top brands such as DeWalt, Makita, Michelin, Comet, Sanli and Einhell which will demonstrate how to revamp your garden and exterior spaces now, so when the fine weather comes you can focus on enjoying the results.
Meet in-house horticulturist Kevin Walsh for expert advice on your garden plus gardening demos will be taking place on the day with Bernard Seal from O’Connor Nurseries – who are Award winning Producers of Quality Irish Plants. Bernard will be covering topics such as low maintenance gardening, planting pots & hanging baskets, and keeping colour in your garden all summer long.
Meanwhile, Interior Design Consultations will take place with Cora Collins from Dulux Paints. She will be on hand to give expert advice on the colour trends for 2014 and way’s to maximise your space.
In addition to all of this there will be some unbeatable offers throughout the store. Expect to leave armed with expert advice, the right tools, plenty of inspiration and happy children.
