Indeed, a breeze assisted Rockchapel answered, capitalising on indiscretions for Collins and Ian Guiney add pointed frees. A spirited Mayfield never gave up but relied principally on Condon for scores. At the opposite end, Hickey remained a threat to find the target when required. Hard though a spirited Mayfield attempted to save the day in their pursuit of a goal, they failed to penetrate a stubborn Rockchapel rearguard.
