Dromtariff­e and they duly obliged thanks to ability to secure goals. A cracking game developed from the outset, Dromtariff­e out of the traps quickly on points recorded to O'Sullivan and Gearoid Murphy.

Boherbue got to grips through the efforts of Niall Murphy, Jerry O'Connor and Conor O'Riordan. A spell of dominance gathered points to Roger Casey, Andrew and Jerry O'Connor to nudge ahead.

Dromtariff­e retaliated and a fine John O'Sullivan goal helped secure a 1-5 to 0-7 interval advantage.

The nip and tuck fare continued into the second half yet Dromtariff­e held key performers in Shane Murphy, Adam Buckley, Gearoid Murphy and Dan Dennehy.

Performing a brand of open and attacking football, the visitors emerged good value for their win. Holding the better balance combinatio­n, Knocknagre­e had reason to feel satisfied on nine players getting on the scoreboard.

Under the direction of Sean Daly, Carl O'Leary, Paud Dineen and Danny Cooper, Knockangre­e carried the ball well to lead 0-8 to 0-3 at the break.
