Back to 80s and 90s for Pieta House fundraiser
STEP BACK IN TIME AT DISCO AT EDEL QUINN HALL
THERE WILL be folk around Duhallow who will be going through their wardrobes to find the best pair of legwarmers that they can find.
If that fails, then plan two will be called for - a star studded Michael Jackson glove.
This and lots more will be just a snippet of the fun to be had at a fundraising 80s and 90s disco which will be held at the Edel Quinn Hall in Kanturk in aid of Pieta House this Saturday.
While fancy dress is optional, Duhallow are not known to need a gentle push to ram themselves into anything which varies from Dracula to Donald Duck, especially when it's for such a worthy charity such as Pieta House.
Pieta House provides a free, therapeutic approach for people who are in suicidal distress and for those who engage in self harm.
There will also be two tickets for Garth Brookes, a signed Cork jersey as well as family cinema tickets.
There will also be a signed munster rugby jersey, as well as two ladies football All Ireland final tickets.
John O'Brien photography will also give three photo session vouchers which are worth €300.
The fundraiser is for people aged 18 years and older and there is a full bar on the night. Tickets will also be on sale at the door.
A bus has been booked for the disco which will stop off and pick up people at Cullen, Rathmore, Knockangree, Ballydesmond, Kiskeam and Boherbue. To book a place on the bus, please contact Dominique on 086 3060113. All funds raised will go to both Pieta House in Cork and in Castleisland.
