Cois Alla stages ‘The Pride of Duhallow’
The next Concert in Cois Alla will be on Thursday night next May 29. This will be a special Bealtaine Concert with a difference . On the night we will have singers,and storytellers from all over Duhallow. Every song or story must have a Duhallow theme. We believe we will have up to 30 singers on the night.!! The following singers have already signed up to sing on the night ,they include:Tadhg de Brún, ( Kanturk). Anne Marie O Riordan, Elle Marie O Dwyer, Mary Buckley, John Murphy,Dara Kelleher,Margaret Moynihan,Louise Dunlea, Edel O Keeffe,Paddy Collins. Make a note of the date Thursday next May 29 and make sure you book your seat for the night.Admission €10 including tea. . 45DRIVE

Freemount ICA . Guild held their AGM.on Tuesday night last 13th. May. There was a good attendance of members present.
The Hon. Secretary Noreen Murphy, gave a detailed account of the Guilds activities during the past year,as did the hon. Treasurer Teresa Carroll when she reported the financial expenses of the year. Showing the Guild to be in a sound financial position at year's end.
The President Anne O Reilly in her address thanked all her officers and members for their co-operation during the past year. She wished the incoming Committee the very best of luck for the year ahead.

LISCARROLL DONKEY SANTUARY
Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to cancel the Carriage Drive and Family Day which was due to be held on Sunday 25th May at The Donkey Sanctuary, Liscarroll, Mallow, Co. Cork.
The Donkey Sanctuary would like to apologise for the cancellation, especially to those of you who have already made travel plans.
FREEMOUNT GAA
Freemount G.A.A. is a very active club catering for all age groups from 6years upwards. The cost of running the club is very signifcant ammounting to approximately €30,000 per annum. The weekly lotto is our main source of fundraising. A weekly lotto ticket costs €2 and you can join for a year at a discounted amount of €90.

A club meeting was held on Sunday May 18th in the Heritage Centre.
Freemount Macra are running a Couch to 6K 5 week challenge in the coming weeks. Starting on this coming Wednesday May 21st there will be a weekly weigh-in and walk with exercise classes/educational talks also.
