Plant some wow colour with Sennetti

These stunning spring and summer flowering plants are ideal in containers and will last 4-6 weeks with the first flush. Once the flowers fade – cut them down to around 6inches 15cm and give a liquid feed of a potash based food. Tomato feed is ok to use. We would use Vitax flower food 102 or 113 on the nursery to promote another flush of these striking flowers. We have had customers say they have got to September with abundant flowers! Obviously, choosing a nice sheltered position helps to extend the flowering season.I had 3 flushes last year on my plants at home and they were regularly commented on on how vibrant the colour was. Feed every 2 weeks and you can’t go wrong. Sun or light shade. (In fact I grew a pot in full sun and a pot of senetti round the back garden in shade most of the day – they still flowered with the same intensity.

The height and spread is around 12 – 24 inches (30-60 cm) depending on growing conditions.

The bees and butterflies love this plant. For a real ‘wow’ factor, plant 3 plants (the same colour) in a large container and see what I mean! They will compliment your Spring flowers and shrubs and provide a transition with summer colour. If you really want to show off, plant them in ‘waves’ in the flower borders.
