Footballers in championship action

KANTURK Intermediate footballers hit the championship trail on Sunday next May 1 with a tricky opening tie against Carrigaline at Mallow with a 3.30pm start.

With Carrigaline seniors having gained safe passage through round one over the past weekend, Kanturk face their second string in the intermediate grade. Kanturk have been going well in division 3 of the County League recording seven wins from their seven games played.

Carrigaline’s second string, have also had a good record in division 4 of the county leagues and if Kanturk underestimate them it will be at their peril.

U14 FOOTBALLERS IN COUNTY SEMI FINAL

Wolfe Tones (Kanturk) are in Rebel Og Central U14 Prem2 FC semi final action on this Thursday 28th April against St Nicks at Cloughduv with a 7.15pm start.

The Kanturk side have had good victories over Gabriel Rangers & Cobh to reach this stage and will face a stiff test from the city side. CUL CAMPS Kanturk GAA Cul Camp is down for July 4th to 8th and booking can be made online through the Kelloggs Cul camp website.

The Cul Camp is open to ages 6 to 13 years and is a game based programme focused on skill acquisition.
