45 DRIVE

The weekly 45 Drive was well attended on Sunday night last. The following is a list of the lucky winners: First Prize went to;-Ben and PJO’Sullivan, Freemount. The best Ladies’ team was : Maureen Vaughan, and Eileen, O’Sullivan, Kanturk. Gents Prize was won by:-1 Dan Murphy, and Jerry O’Callaghan, Freemount and 2 Tim Burke, Broadford and Daithí Burke, Meelin.

Mixed prize was won by ;-Jerh O’Sullivan and Noreen Barry, Newmarket. Table prize was won by:-Cian O’Sullivan, and Con Foley, Freemount. Raffle Prizes were won by:-1 Noreen Barry, Newmarket. 2 Con Foley, Freemount. 3 Jerry O’Callaghan, Freemount. 4 Joan Buckley, Liscarroll.

The 45 drive will commence on this Sunday night, May 1, at 8.30 p.m. We are starting at 8.30 p.m. for the Summer months as usual. See you all on Sunday night and bring a friend.

AROUND THE FIRESIDE

The next programme of Around the Fireside will be broadcast on C103 Local Radio on Monday night next May 2. at 9.50 p.m. On Monday night we have a group from ‘Comhaltas an Rath’ Charleville, The group will give a full account of the upcoming Fleadh Cheoil programme which will be held in Charleville on Friday, May 6. To Sunday, May 8. They will play some great music and will have a very informative and entertaining programme, with plenty of chat with Michael McGrath and Ian Doyle. Don’t miss it.!
