DECLAN O’ROURKE TO PLAY THE WHITE HORSE

CRITICALLY acclaimed Irish singer/songwriter Declan O’Rourke will make a welcome return to Cork on Saturday for a gig ‘upstairs’ at the White Horse in Ballincollig.

O’Rourke’s 2005 debut album, Since Kyabram, proved to be the perfect calling card for the struggling songwriter.

Since then his songs have been covered by numerous artists including Josh Groban, Eddi Reader and Paul Weller, with the latter saying “O’Rourke writes the sort of classic songs that people don’t write anymore, songs that sound like they have been around forever.”
