TEDDY AND KELLY SET FOR CYPRUS AVENUE GIG

FOLK singer Teddy Thompson, the son of Richard and Linda Thompson, and acclaimed US singer Kelly Jones will play Cork’s Cyprus Avenue at 8pm on Saturday night.

The singers, who first performed together in 2011, will perform tracks from their critically acclaimed album ‘Little Windows’, released at the start of April.

Inspired by the Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly and Sam Cooke, the ten tracks on the album explore the joy and sorrows of love and the vagaries of the human heart with stirring vocals pay more than a passing nod to Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons.
