ALL STAR QUARTET AT TRISKEL ARTS CENTRE
An all star quartet will be performing a selection of music at the Triskel Arts Centre tonight from 8pm.
‘Reciprocity’ is the new album from a collection of highly renowned solo artists who have joined forces to collaborate on this unique music experience.
The collaboration includes the acclaimed pianist Kevin Hays, guitar prodigy Nir Felder and trumpet player Avishai Cohen.
The shining star of this musical partnership, however, is undoubtedly the drummer, Oliver Le Goas, who has long established himself as one of the most elite musicians in the world, performing for music societies and orchestras throughout the world.

COLÁISTE STIOFÁIN NAOFA ANNUAL DANCE SHOW AT FIRKIN CRANE
The annual dance showcase of Coláiste Stiofáin Naaofa will take place tonight at Firkin Crane from 8pm.
This event is the highlight of the CSN dance calender and this year they are producing their biggest performance to date.
Choreographed by dance instructor Jane Kelleghan, this show offers an opportunity to showcase the exhilarating skills which CSN have been training for all year.
The talented dance students will perform a wide ranging selection of dance styles, ranging from jazz, tap to contemporary.
Former students of CSN have gone on to perform on the West End and Broadway, which signifies the talent on display.

DOMINIC MOORE’S PUNCH UP AT THE CORK ARTS THEATRE
Following its hugely successful run earlier in the year Dominic Moore returns with Mr Punch, his compelling one-man show, at the Cork Arts Theatre this Tuesday at 8pm.
Mr Punch is the story of a puppeteer, Jimmy Horgan, and his attempts to perform his traditional Punch and Judy Show in the world of today’s political correctness.
Dominic Moore most recently appeared in the acclaimed Jack by Declan Hassett, the play marking the centenary of the birth of Jack Lynch, at the Everyman.
One of Ireland’s leading puppeteers, Dominic Moore has worked extensively with RTE for years bringing characters to life.

WESTLIFE AND BOYZONE UNITE FOR BOYZLIFE AT CORK OPERA HOUSE
After the resounding success of their first tour, Boyzlife are returning to the Cork Opera House on Friday.
The newly formed group, consisting of Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy, formerly of Westlife and Boyzone respectively, formed in early 2016 and have been performing a selection of the two bands greatest hits as well as sharing some of their favourite stories from their musical heydays.
Between them, they have sold in excess of 60 million records and have 24 number one singles in the UK.
Their musical achievements have cemented the two singers importance in the history of Irish music.

A MUSIC CAREER ON SHOW AT IONAD CULTHURTHA
Veteran music performers Buttons & Bows will be taking to the stage at Ionad Culthurtha this Saturday night at 8.30pm.
Buttons & Bows have been performing together since 1983. Decades later, the band’s repertoire still raises a smile at traditional music sessions wherever they perform.
Their classical approach to traditional music provides a counterpart to the modern take on the style.
The groups individuals performed as solo artists throughout the world, from Scandanavia to North America, which has provided rich pickings of musical influence and ideas.
With such experience, audiences will be treated to an education in musical diversity.

CLASSICAL TENOR PERFORMS FUNDRAISER AT CARRIGTWOHILL
Finbarr Wright will be performing a concert at Carrigtwohill Church this Sunday in aid of Ballincurrig National School.
The classically trained Tenor is referred as one of Ireland’s great romantic singers with sales to back up such claims.
He has performed in some of the most famous and prestigious arenas and theatres in the world, including Carnagie Hall, Sydney Opera House, Radio City Music Hall and the Lincoln Centre.
He has performed for US Presidents and Royalty all over the world and formed a part of the international acclaimed group, The Irish Tenors.

COUNTRY HEARTTHROB NATHAN CARTER TO ROCK THE INEC
The INEC Killarney will be the arena for three nights of country music heartthrob Nathan Carter, who will be performing Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Arguably the most successful Irish live act today, Carter has already achieved three number one albums, two number one live DVD’s and two number one singles, all before the age of 25.
This success has elevated Nathan to become a household name, with the BBC crediting him for making country music once again popular. This point was emphasised by his Christmas special on RTE, which drew an audience of over 600,000 people, making it one of the most watched tv shows of 2015.

HOTLY TIPPED COMEDY TROUPE AT ST LUKES ON SATURDAY
The hilarious comedy troupe CCCahoots will be performing at St.Lukes this Saturday from 9pm.
The group made up of Tadhg Hickey, Dominic MacHale and Laura O’Mahony have already formed a strong working relationship with RTE, contributing to the smash hit tv show Republic of Telly and they are currently developing their very own sitcom for the station.
They also perform weekly online sketches which have amassed a strong, loyal fanbase.
Tipped as the next big thing in Irish comedy, they have already received international attention by drawing the eye of broadcasters such as Channel 4.

CINCO DE MAYO AT THE VICARSTOWN BAR
The Vicarstown Bar in Cork will be hosting Disco É Cultura, a cultural event bringing different cultures together, this Sunday from 4pm.
A party focusing on the amazing music, colours and cultures of Brazil, Latin America, East Africa and the Caribbean ensures a diverse and vibrant event.
Tropical dance rhythms will be performed on the day, which coincides with Cinco De Mayo, the famously flamboyant Mexican street festival.
Anyone looking to experience a more exotic type of event won’t be disappointed with this event, which includes African and Latin American food, drink, dance and song.

IRISH TARANTINO AT RORY GALLAGHER THEATRE
Dead Along The Way, the debut film by Irish director Maurice O’Carroll, will be screening at the Rory Gallagher Theatre, CIT Bishopstown, on Wednesday at 5.30pm.
This Irish crime comedy features around the hapless wedding videographers Wacker and Tony who find themselves unexpectedly dealing with a dead body, an overly enthusiastic Gardaí, fertility treatment, a vengeful gangster and an impending wedding.
Made on a shoe-string budget of only €10,000, this film has been praised as Tarantino-esque for it’s humour, style and interlocking stories.
