to improve the competitiveness of SMEs in Europe. ECSB facilitates the creation and distribution of new knowledge through research, education and the open exchange of ideas, between professions and across national and cultural borders.
Professor Robert Blackburn, President ECSB said: “I am delighted that the Hincks Centre in CIT is hosting the 2017 3E Conference. The location, warmth, and energy of the hosts, offers a perfect match for the enthusiasm and vibrancy of the growing enterprise education community.
Dr Breda Kenny, Head of Hincks Centre and 3e Conference Chair said as the premier European research conference in the field of entrepreneurship education, the 3E conference will significantly enhance the scientific, as well as the practical, scope for entrepreneurship education researchers from tertiary and secondary institutions, as well as for trainers and policy makers.
“Entrepreneurship education is critical for developing entrepreneurial skills, attitudes and behaviours that are the basis for economic growth and recovery and this conference brings the impact of entrepreneurship education to the forefront,” she said.
Over 120 delegates as well as exhibitors will attend over the three day conference. The programme includes professional development workshops and research paper presentations. A showcase on entrepreneurship education will take place on May 10th, followed by a Mayoral reception in City Hall. Previous venues have included Aarhus University, Denmark, University of Turku, Finland, Leuphana University, Germany, and the University of Leeds.
