caused a lot of problems to the Coachford defence as the supply came in regularly. Christy English and Dylan Connolly had early points with English having his sides first goal in the eighth minute after good play by Aaron O’Brien.

Coachford opened their account in the 11th minute when Tadhg Bradley pointed a free. CBS pushed on with Sean Cunningham putting Dean Finn in for a point. Christy English and Darragh Flynn with rapid points made it 1-8 to 0-1. Coachford had a goal in the 27th minute when David Buckley worked well for Joshua

Grimes who netted 1-8 to 1-1. Coachford keeper Jack O’Connor saved well from Christy English in the dying moments 1-8 to 1-1 at the interval.

The Muskerry side had two wides on the restart with David Buckley pointing. CBS struck for their 2nd goal in the 36th minute when Darragh O’Flynn, Dean Finn and Sean Cunningham worked well for Christy English who punched to the net. The 3rd goal came soon after when Darragh Brennan finished off a three man attack.

In the 44th minute Sean Cunningham was on hand to make it 4-8 to 1-2. Both sides made a number of substituti­ons in the last quarter. Ciaran O’Sullivan who came on for Coachford had two points with CBS adding eight more points before the final whistle.

CBS will now meet either Patrician Academy Mallow or Sacred Heart College Carrignava­r in the final.
