Online advice doesn’t solve everything: call to your local property agent
MAKING ‘face to face’ contact with those in the know is more important than ever when it comes to advice about buying, selling or renting property. The volume of online information certainly helps when it comes to researching property, mortgages and locations. But the one thing online research always produces is more questions than answers.
At this point many people get frustrated and resort to relying on rumour and hearsay about property. A falsehood exists that all property-related queries can be sorted from online query. This simply isn’t the case as issues of availability, expiration, price increases and decreases are not necessarily always up to speed. The circumstances surrounding property and its availability are constantly evolving and sometimes you must close the laptop and make a visit to your local agent to get the information relevant to you.
Sherry FitzGerald Walsh (pic of Derry attached) under the guidance of Derry Walsh has been involved in estate agency since 1998. Derry has widespread experience in all sectors of the property business including residential sales, commercial sales & lettings, and property valuations. Having lived in the vicinity of Charleville since 1990, he has a wealth of experience and is well placed to advise on all property related matters throughout the county. His qualifications include MIPAV, REV, and MCEI.
Basic logic would suggest that if we’re about to consider purchasing, renting, buying land, or selling property, then relying solely on websites is not best practice. After all, this is a lifetime’s decision and it requires the kind of face to face assistance of an agent that provides advice specific to your needs.
Making the right choices, finding the right finance, understanding the correct legal procedures, are all important. Cork is a county with no shortage of property agents and giving them a call can save endless hours of online scrolling. Remember, while the internet can provide us with as much information as we want, the one thing it can’t provide is experience. Browsing online property pages can be a great guide but when it comes to advice, be sure to make an appointment with an agent and cut to the chase.
