KILSHANNIG are on top of the Cavanagh’s Fermoy 13-a-side Division 3 HL following their big win over Milford at Milford on Saturday evening.

Kilshannig opened with an early goal by Denis Cloghan and they dominated from here. Points by Jack Twomey, Tadhg O’Sullivan and Pat O’Callaghan were followed by Milford points by Declan Sexton and John Cremin.

As the half progressed Kilshannig were well in control and a series of fine points helped them to an interval lead 1-14 to 0-11. Milford relied mainly on scores by John Cremin while Shane Carroll and Rory Biggane also figuring on the score-sheet in the opening half.

The second half was all Kilshannig who scored 0-13 to just a single goal for Milford late in the game by Declan Sexton. Even though defeated Milford should also make the knock-out stages of this league
