O’Sullivan is a doubt for Dromtariffe’s Munster opener
Dromtariffe v Kildimo-Pallaskenry (Limerick)
Saturday, November 10 Mallow 1pm NEW ground for both Dromtariffe and Kildimo/Pallaskenry in a grade dominated by Kerry sides only for Knocknagree to break the sequence last season.
Dromtariffe came through a testing campaign, big questions asked in the aftermath of a heartbreaking defeat to Boherbue in the Duhallow JAFC Final. Not the end of the world as it turned to be, Dromtariffe followed in the trek of Knocknagree during the past year, the latter found redemption to collect county, Munster and All Ireland accolades.
So far so good for Dromtariffe in their bid to follow suit, jumping the first series of obstacles to account for Charleville and Iveleary before a dramatic late rally forced a fancied Kilmacacabea into submission in the county final.
Doubts surround the fitness of team captain Seamus O’Sullivan, his move to full forward in the county final helped contribute to a pair of match defining goals. Late on, O’Sullivan was forced to leave the action and his influence may well be curtailed because of injury.
