Kildorrery set to be subject of vital survey
KILDORRERY Community Development Association is conducting an independent study of the community to ascertain the needs of the area going forward, and they are appealing to everyone to participate.
Meehan Tully and Associates have been employed by the Development Association to carry out the survey in order to achieve a completely impartial result.
The survey is aimed at carrying out an in-depth analysis of the community and its clubs in order to learn of any concerns, and also to find out what locals would like to see in place, especially for young people.
The Development Association was awarded a grant of €10,000 by Ballyhoura to carry out the survey.
They currently own the old creamery yard, which they developed into a car park, and also own two buildings on the site, which they have said they would like to develop for the future.
Survey forms have gone out to all the clubs and schools in both Kildorrery and Marshalstown.
Kildorrery Community Association hopes that everyone will give a bit of their time in order to achieve a totally impartial view as to what they would like to see in the village in the coming years.
