Killavullen
AROUND THE FIRESIDE
Jimmy Reidy’s Around the Fireside featured the talents and lore of Killavullen on the prestigious slot last Novemember 5th with entertaining tales and stories told by Nora Moroney, the Sisters from the Nano Nagle Birthplace, Noreen O’Brien and Breeda Coakley. On the night musicians from the Parish as well as the choir played and sang, and Mai Rafferty recited a beauitful poem about Nano Nagle.
Next week the programme will also feature voices and talents from our wonderful locality and is certainly worth tuning into on C103 FM between 10 and 11pm on Monday night. Many thanks to those who went to Freemount to participate. You did yourselves and our Parish proud!
