JUNIOR B WIN

Boherbue Junior B footballers scored a 6-10 to 1-07 win over Cullen in the Duhallow League Final played at Kiskeam on Sunday last. This was a much closer encounter than the score suggests and a great sporting contest between two teams eager to play football. Boher got some classic scores but none other than Adrian Murphy’s second-half point from out by the sideline, 30 metres from goal which was a match winner in itself. It was also pleasing to see young Stephen Aherne make a welcome return after injury.
