This spin off from the Big Bang Theory starts a second series, having being the fourth watched TV show in America in its debut season.

The series centres on a young Sheldon Copper, one of the characters from the Big Bang Theory, making much of the protagonist’s idiosyncratic foibles which make the Big Bang so funny and watchable.

Yet the show misses the other characters from Big Bang, Leonard Hofstadter, Rajesh Ramayan Koothrappali, Howard Wolowitz and Penny which make that particular show so popular.

The new season starts off with Sheldon starting up a paper round, with Sheldon wearing a football helmet to protect him while cycling.
