It’s back to days of yore in Donoughmore

THERE will be a nostalgic ramble down memory lane as past pupils and many friends will gather to remember their days at St Lachteens in Donoughmore next month.

The celebration will mark seven decades of memories and on Thursday, December 6, there will be mass for at St Lachteens Church at 11am.

Then it will be on to Scoil Naomh Laichtin for the memories to kick in. All past pupils and members of the school community will be made feel most welcome. There will be tea, chats and a walk around the school.

People are being encouraged that if they have some old photographs to kindly bring them along and to share their memories.
