A small snag but it makes for a great production
ST Mary’s Secondary School will present their annual transition year show in Clondrohid Hall on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23, at 8pm. The musical comedy ‘A Small Snag’, written and directed by Catherine Long, centres around the students of De La Salle and St. Mary’s.
Both schools are promised a brand-new building, with ‘a small snag’ that they have to amalgamate. It follows the reactions of the school principals, students, and their families to the news.
They also have to put together a school musical. It promises to be an exciting show full of dance, music, fun and maybe even a little bit of romance.
The audition process began for the Transition Years back in September and they have been working hard over the past few months under the direction of Catherine and with the help of music teacher, Aoife Donovan.
The students have been heavily involved in every aspect of the show from the beginning and it has been a valuable and enjoyable experience for all involved.
The girls are really looking forward to hitting the stage to give a great performance. Tickets cost €10 and are available from the school office (026-41544) and the shop in Clondrohid village.
