Festive season kicking off in Mitchel’s town next week
THE Festive season officially kick off in Mitchelstown on Saturday November 24 with hundreds of people expected to flock to New Square to see the Christmas Lights switch on.
For many getting into the Christmas spirit in November can be difficult but once the Christmas lights are glowing against the winter sky, the Festive season becomes official.
This year again, Mitchelstown Business Association has teamed up with the local Lions Club to host the festive extraganga.
Extra festive decorations and embellishments have been purchased this year to add to the existing festive decor.
The Christmas Lights were erected on Sunday. Sincere thanks to all the volunteers who worked on the ground, directing traffic while Santa’s helpers went about the job of hanging the lights.
There will be a Christmas Market in New Square on Saturday December 8 starting at 12.30pm.
Limited spaces are available.
