Late Mary Ellen O’Keeffe is remembered

THE death of Mary Ellen O’Keeffe, Ballyanihan and Derryvillane Mitchelstown occurred on November 8 at Abbeylands Nursing Home Kildorrery

The late Eileen was predeceased by her brothers Fr., Michael, Gerald, John, Pat and baby Ignatius. She was a popular member of a well known family in the Ballyanihan and Kildorrery areas.

Her popularity was borne out in the large and represented attendance that were present at the funeral on Friday evening from the Nursing Home Chapel to the Church of the Immaculate Conception Ballindangan.

There was also a fine attenance at the Requiem Mass and burial on Sunday. Interment took place to Marshalstown Cemetery.

To her brother Liam, Sr. Eileen O.P. Sister in law Mary Angela (Nee Lynch) nieces Margaret, Mary, Catherine, Carmel & Eileen, nephews Terence and Brendan, relatives neighbours friends and her fellow residents in Abbeylands we tender our sincere sympathy.
