Diverse activity at Green Glens

-

A BUMPER few weeks at the multi purpose Green Glens Complex brought thousands of visitors into Millstreet for diverse activity. ‘Houseworks’ welcomed international and local DJs and producers from far and near with Jax Jones and Disciples amongst the headline acts in early October.

That was followed by the National Dairy Show, Ireland’s only premier livestock and agricultural indoor show, which showcased Ireland’s Holstein Friesian and Jersey cattle and a great selection of what the agricultural industry had to offer.

Next up was the Owners, Pony and Young Riders Charity Show, a competition that took place across six arenas, with the main focus on the International Indoor Arena. Pony riders of all levels have the opportunity to ride in the arena that has previously hosted FEI World Cup Qualifiers and International competitions.

Rounding off another hectic season at the Green Glens Arena was Self Build Live, the ultimate showcase for people who are building, extending, improving or simply decorating their home.

With 2019 around the corner, it all begins again with the Machinery Show on January 16/17.
