LADIES WIN

Araglen Desmonds Buí underlady footballers showed their never say die attitude with a 4-07 to 2-11 win over one of Corks most famous sides Maurneabbey at Dromtariffe on Sunday week last to capture both county championships and league titles. This was a major achievement for this squad and a just award for their long year of preparation under the watchful eyes of selectors Derry Courtney, Denis Breen and Declan Cremin. REMEMBRANCE

The annual service of remembrance for those who died during the year takes place in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Kiskeam on Friday, November 30, at 7.30 p.m.

Araglen Desmonds Buí underlady footballers scored a 4-07 to 2-11 win over Mourneabbey at Dromtariffe on Sunday week last to capture both county championship and league titles. Mourneabbey with their record were a tough challenge but the local girls turned the form book on its head with only minutes remaining when Rebecca Cremin netted to give her side a two point advantage. This game was a classic with excellent football, skill and well taken scores.
