Gardai probe Newmarket break-in

GARDAI are investigating at break-in which occurred at Andrew Hourigan’s in Newmarket in the early hours of Monday morning.

A Garda spokesperson confirmed to The Corkman that entry was made via the front door of the motorcycle shop in the early hours of Monday, December 3, where “a small sum of cash was taken.”

The burglars took off in car shortly after 1.30am.

It is also understood the burglars were on the premises for less than a minute.
