Well done to Clyda Rovers Minor football team who won the Minor League Football final v Blarney in Na Piarsaigh last monday night on a scoreline of 1-10 to 2-4. It was a great display and a fitting end to a long year by a team that gave great entertainment to its supporters all year. Well done to the management team of Conor Flanagan, Noel Walsh, Tim O’Callaghan, Billy Mulcahy, Marie Kelly and Denis O’Sullivan. See the sports section for the Team and scorers.

Clyda Rovers would like to wish Mourneabbey Ladies Football the very best wishes in the All Ireland Senior football final next Saturday in Dublin. There will a huge exedous from the parish to support this great team in there quest for all-ireland honours. We would also like to extend our congradulations to Ciara and Dioran O’Sullivan who recieved All Honours in Dublin last weekend and to Emer Meaney and Marie O’Callaghan who were nominated.

COMMUNITY COUNCIL

MCC would like to wish Mourneabbey Ladies Football Club the very best next Saturday in the All Ireland final. The senior citizens Christmas party will take place on Sunday December 16th from 2-6pm.
