BILL COLLINS WINS MUNSTER MEDALS – Riverstick was the venue last Sunday for the Munster Juvenile Cross Country Championship. On a very tough course, made worse by recent rain, four of our athletes braved the conditions.

Bill Collins in his first Cross Country season did best in the boys under-15 race over 2500m. He ran in the top 10 bunch throughout and finished strong to collect his first Munster medal. Bill also won gold with the Cork team.

Dan Collins in only his second race did well to finish the course.

Clara Whelan at under-nine found the going tough but finished strongly.
