GEORGE GRIFFIN R.I.P.

THE death took place at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice of George Griffin on Friday, November 16.

From Townview, George is predecease­d by his father Jim and survived by his wife Elizabeth, so Darren, daughters Tricia and Claire, mother Nora, brothers James and John, sister Ann, relations, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church on Monday November 19at 1.30pm followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

EAMONN O’CALLAGHAN R.I.P.

THE death took place on Monday, November 19 of Eamonn O’Callaghan at Cork University Hospital.

Eamonn is survived by his wife Esther and family. Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on on Thursday November 22 at 12noon followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

To the O’Callaghan family we extend our deepest sympathy.

ELLEN (NELL) HEANEY R.I.P.

THE death took place on Wednesday, November 21 of Ellen (Nell) Heaney at Bantry General Hospital.

From Glenanaar, and from a hugely popular family, Nell is predecease­d by her brother Billy ( Walsh), sister Mary (Conroy) and survived by her husband David, sons Michael, Noel, David, Seamus and Dominic, daughter Eileen, relations, kind neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church at 11.30am on Friday, November 23 followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.
