Question and answer session on the menu for breakfast

WATERPOWER in Kanturk hosted their first business breakfast networking event last week where a range of local companies traded informatio­n about their enterprise­s.

There was a question and answer session for anyone who had wanted to find out about the other businesses at the event followed by a very productive networking session for the last 30 minutes.

Catherine Ring thanked both TY groups from Colaiste Treasa for presenting their excellent business ideas - Desktop Calendars and Crested Football Gloves.

Also, in attendance was Denise O’Leary of O’Leary Career Guidance, who provides Career Advice and Support for both students and adults who wish to return to education.

Clive Hooper of Simply Social Media outlined his marketing business which is available to businesses of all sizes and he also creates websites.

Val Moynihan of Euroguard Security introduced his business and his security business is available to both commercial and domestic customers.

Emma Burke of Burke’s Hardware Kanturk outlined the history of the store and their many products from Tiles, Bathrooms, Internal Doors, Paint, Heating and Plumbing as well as an extensive range of Christmas Decoration­s

James Sheehy from Bank of Ireland is a Business Advisor and he was available to all who attended on the day who would need Business Advice and Help.

Shane O’Leary from Munster Drone Services introduced his business which is being used by many Small and Large companies who want a Drone Video produced for their company or associatio­ns for promotion purposes. Shane also stocks products for sale which are suitable for gifts.

Dan Twomey, Jack Reen and Josephine Vaughan of Waterpower outlined the services that Waterpower provides, Electricit­y Supply, Electricit­y Generation, Solar PV, Hydro Power, Profile Monitoring and Rainwater Harvesting.

Catherine Ring introduced Corkery’s Bar which opened its doors 30 years ago on December 8th. Lunch is served every day from 12.30 to 3pm Monday to Friday. They also provide a take away service and a freshly prepared lunch daily and an excellent customer service.

“A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to Kate from Kate’s Kitchen for the fabulous home baking fresh out of the oven on Thursday morning” Catherine Ring said.
