Darts semi-finals are down for decision

THE Blackwater Valley Darts Christmas Raffle took place in Daly’s Bar on Friday, January 4.

The winners are as follows: Roisin Duffy (Large Hamper), Ryan O’Keeffe (Small Hamper) while other prize winners were: Andrew Clarke, Oran O’Sullivan, Ray Willis and Liam O’Farrell.

In conjunction with the raffle there was a doubles darts tournament and congratulations to winners Dave O’Leary and Tommy Kavanagh, well done to runners up Paddy McMahon and Donal Cullinane.

The draw for the Cup and Plate semi-finals took place over the Christmas period and the fixtures are as follows: Cup semi-finals, Bridge House V Horgans, Kilbrin Social Club V Daly’s; Plate semi-finals, Mousetrap V Maureens, Corkerys V Kit Roches.

The first leg is to be played on Friday, January 25 and the second leg on Friday, February 1.

The league commences again this week with the following fixtures: Corkerys V Bridge House, Kit Roches V Daly’s, Mousetrap V Maureens and Horgans V Kilbrin Social Club. Best of luck to everyone for 2019.
