Mallow girls rugby

-

MALLOW’S girls rugby U/14s, U/16s and U/ 18s practices have resumed on Mondays and Wednesdays and the minis girls practices start on Saturday, January 12.

January is “Give it a try” month for girls who would like to try out rugby and no sporting experience is necessary. Girls aged 7 to 18 are invited to attend a practice session, participate in some fun games and activities, meet the coaches and other players and get the year off to a great start.

Mallow Rugby Club has a minis girls section (under 8, 10 and 12) that practices from 10am to 11am in Mallow Town Park on Saturdays, as well as U/14, U/16 and U/18 girls teams with practice sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7pm to 8.30pm in the Town Park.

New girls are always welcome and no sports experience is necessary and coaches ensure that all the girls learn rugby skills and participate in non-contact and contact games based on individual girls interests and abilities.

For more information on the girls rugby programme, please contact the club’s girls rugby coordinator Ian Vaughan at 0862510504 or vaughani@eircom.net
