JIMMY NOR­RIS R.I.P.

THE death has oc­curred of Jimmy Nor­ris at Mary­mount Univer­sity Hospi­tal and Hospice on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 26.

From Castlepark and for­merly of Castlekevin, Jimmy was pre­de­ceased by his brothers, Wil­liam and Vic­tor, sis­ter El­iz­a­beth, and is sur­vived by his wife, He­len (nèe Rea) daugh­ters Lara (Finke), Vicky (Shee­han) and Katie ( Whe­lan), re­la­tions, neigh­bours and friends.

Re­quiem Mass was cel­e­brated in the Church of the Res­ur­rec­tion at 11.30am on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 29 fol­lowed by burial in St. Gob­nait’s Ceme­tery.

To the Nor­ris fam­ily we ex­tend our deep­est sym­pa­thy.

ANNE CORKERY R.I.P.

THE death took place on Tues­day, Jan­uary 1 of Anne Corkery (nèe Dal­ton).

From Bo­her­bue and for­merly of Lach­nalooha, Mal­low, Anne was pre­de­ceased by her brother Ted and is sur­vived by her hus­band, John, chil­dren Pa­trick, An­drea, John, Tadhg and Mary, brothers Michael and Kieran, re­la­tions and a wide cir­cle of friends.

Re­quiem Mass was cel­e­brated in St. Mary’s Church at 11am on Thurs­day, Jan­uary 3 with burial af­ter­wards in Bo­her­bue Ceme­tery.

HE­LEN CURRY R.I.P.

THE death took place at Cork Univer­sity Hospi­tal of He­len Curry (nèe Le­hane) on Wed­nes­day, Jan­uary 2.

From Pow­er­scourt and for­merly of Killavullen, He­len is pre­de­ceased by her son Michael and baby Martina, and sur­vived by her hus­band, Dave, sons John, David and Bren­dan, daugh­ter Mary, re­la­tions, car­ers and friends.

Re­quiem Mass was cel­e­brated in St. Craeb­nait’s Church An­nakissa fol­lowed by burial in the ad­join­ing ceme­tery.

The fam­ily would like to thank Mal­low Gen­eral Hospi­tal for the won­der­ful care of their mother.

DE­NIS CRONIN. R.I.P.

THE death took place of De­nis Cronin of Canon Shee­han Place at Wind­mill Nurs­ing Home, Church­town on Satur­day, Jan­uary 5.

For­merly of Clogheen, Mourne­abbey and Dro­more, De­nis is sur­vived by his wife, Al­ice (nèe Pol­lard) son Jerry, re­la­tions and friends.

Re­quiem Mass was cel­e­brated in St. Mary’s Church at 12noon on Mon­day, Jan­uary 7 fol­lowed by burial to St. Gob­nait’s Ceme­tery.

PAT O’CON­NELL. R.I.P.

THE death took place at the Mercy Hospi­tal of Pat O’Con­nell on Sun­day, De­cem­ber 30.

From Gre­nagh and for­merly of Cullen, Pat is pre­de­ceased by his wife, Mar­garet (nèe Houli­han) and sur­vived by his son, Tim­o­thy and daugh­ter Louise, brothers De­nis, Sèa­mus and Daniel, sis­ter Nina (Tangney).

Pat worked in the Qual­ity Con­trol De­part­ment of the Bor­den Co. in Mal­low up to its clo­sure in 1998 and later at UCC.

Re­quiem Mass was cel­e­brated in St. Lach­teen’s Church, Gre­nagh at 11am on Wed­nes­day, Jan­uary 1 fol­lowed by burial in Cullen Ceme­tery.
