be back playing competitive fixtures and for Clancy that really is what it’s all about.
“It’s good to get a game under our belts to get use to each other and the new rules. I think it was a good performance today, a little sluggish in the first half, but in the second we kind of got going.”
Those rule changes did have some impact last weekend with Cork getting pulled up three or four times on the three-hand pass rule, but Clancy wasn’t that concerned about it stating “it is just about getting used to it in a competitive game I think really. You can practice it all you want in training but until you see how the referees are reffing it then you won’t really get a handle on it.”
