AGM season in full swing
INTO a new year, Duhallow GAA clubs are gearing up for the start of a new playing season with AGMs and functions dominating the local scene.
Dromtariffe GAA will have plenty to ponder at its AGM on this Friday night in the GAA Clubrooms at 8pm with a County Junior ‘A’ Football Championship Cup on view as will be the John Joe Brosnan Memorial Cup marking Dromtariffe’s first time triumph in the Duhallow Junior ‘A’ Hurling Championship.
Also on Friday, the Millstreet GAA AGM is scheduled for its Community Hall with a 8pm start.
The Cullen GAA AGM takes place on Sunday at 2pm in the Cullen GAA Clubrooms. Also on Sunday, Banteer/Lyre GAA host their AGM in Lyre Hall commencing at 6.30pm.
Socially, Lismire GAA host a victory function in Kilbrin Social Club on Saturday, and the same night Millstreet and Duarigle Gaels convene to acknowledge divisional U-21 Hurling and U-21 Football Championship wins in the Wallis Arms Hotel.
