Annual weigh-in is still going strong

THE Cullen and District Special Needs Association Annual Weigh-in continues to enjoy support with weekly exercises and dancing continues taking place amongst regular patrons again attending each Monday night.

The association was founded in 1980 in a response to people with specific needs in the greater North Cork region.

And for more than three decades, the Cullen group’s diverse fund-raising has helped numerous and worthy causes in Rathmore, Charleville, Kanturk, Mallow, Millstreet and Beaufort.

The final night is Monday, March 12.

There will be presentations of cheques to COPE Kanturk, Mallow and Cork; St Joseph’s Foundation, Charleville; Kerry Parents and Friends Association, Rathmore; and the Old Monastery, Killarney.
