Hurlers host The Rockies this Saturday

KANTURK footballers made the trip to Coachford on Sunday last 10th March a winning one when defeating Aghabullogue in the county division 2 league on a 3-14 to 0-05 score line.

Kanturk blitzed their opposition in the opening quarter racing into a 3-3 to nil lead and were 3-08 to 0-02 ahead at the interval. Kanturk continued to hold sway in the second half and recorded a fine victory.

HURLERS HOST THE ROCKIES:

Kanturk senior hurlers return to Division 1 SHL action on Saturday 16th March with a 3pm start. At time of writing the ‘’ home’’ venue is not confirmed so keep an eye on social media for updates closer to the time.

REBEL OG:

In rebel Og North affairs, Wolfe Tones (Kanturk) travelled to Cullen on Sunday last 10th March and were defeated by Duarigle Gaels in the U18 Div1 FL on a 1-06 to 2-11 score line.

The U14 football league tie with Killavullen which was to have been played at Kanturk on Saturday last 9th March now goes ahead at Lismire on Thursday 14th March 7pm. Results; Cork Div2 FL; Kanturk 3-14 Aghabullogue 0-05 Rebel Og North U18 Div1 FL, Wolfe Tones (Kanturk) 1-06 Duarigle Gaels 2-11.
