PLANS are in place for Cork’s biggest car show which will display an array of classic and vintage cars, Harleys and Goldwings.

The Cork Car Show, which is run in association with Cork Airport, will take place at the Cork International Hotel on Sunday, April 7 from 11am to 5.30pm.

The annual event is now in its third year and is held in aid of Cork charity, the Rainbow Club. The Rainbow Club is a support service for children who have autism or are on the autism spectrum. The event will feature American cars and bikes in addition to some very special vintage cars. On the day there will be live music, prizes and food. Entry for adults is €5 and children will have free entry.

“We are very excited to once again host the Cork Car Show which is the perfect day out for car enthusiasts and families,” General Manager of the Cork International Hotel Carmel Lonergan said. “In addition to the wide variety of cars on show there will be entertainment on the day for children and it is all in aid of our charity partner, the Rainbow Club.”

The hotel recently announced that it has partnered with the Rainbow Club Cork Centre for Autism as its charity partner for 2019. As a result of this new partnership with the Rainbow Club, the Cork International Hotel will raise funds on behalf of the charity throughout the year through various events. The Rainbow Club is hoping to raise €2 million to fund a new facility in Little Island.
