Michael Carey
The death occurred on March 15 at the Mercy University Hospital Cork of Michael Carey, Glenduff, Mitchelstown.
The late Michael had been in ill health for a short while. He was predeceased by his sister, Eileen (O’Donovan).
A popular member of the farming community, he was well known locally. His popularity was borne out in the large and represented attendance present at the family home for his Funeral on Monday evening and also at the Requiem Mass in Ballygiblin Church on Tuesday. Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery Mitchelstown.
To his wife, Eileen; daughters, Marie (Meade), Carol, Orla (Hayman), Niamh (Luddy), and Clodagh; brothers, Jerry and Tom; grandchildren, Aisling, Cathal, Annabelle, Cormac, Jessica and Caragh; sonsin-law, John, Matt and Noel; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; relatives; neighbours and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.
Mary Philomena Kelly (née McGrath)
The death occurred on March 16 of Mary Philomena Kelly (née McGrath), Castlequarter, Kilbehenny, at her daughter Mary’s residence in Kilglass. The late Mary was predeceased by her husband, Tom. She was a popular member of the community in the Kilbehenny area. There was a large and represented attendance at the Funeral in Kilglass on Monday evening and also at ther Requiem Mass in Kilbehenny Church on Tuesday. Interment took place to the Church Grounds. To her sons, John, Danjoe, Michael and William; daughters, Margaret, Joan (Cunningham) and Mary (Kiely); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sonsin-law, Michael and Barry; daughters-in-law, Margaret, Mary, Helen, Maggie and Noreen; relatives; neighbours and many friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.
Paddy Chamberlain
The death occurred on March 17 at Mallow General Hospital of Paddy Chamberlain, Lower Cork Street, Mitchelstown. The late Paddy was well known, being one of the joint owners of Chamberlain’s Bakery over many years.
He was well known locally. There was a large and represented attendance for his Funeral from the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, on Tuesday evening and also at the Requiem Mass in the Parish Church on Wednesday. Interment took place to the adjoining cemetery. To his sons, Edward and John; brother, Seanie; sister, Bridget McGonagle; grandchildren, Marney, Ellie, Charlie, Lewis, Sam and Joe; sons-inlaw; daughters-in-law; carers, Reminta and John; nephews;, nieces; relatives; neighbours and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy
