COMMUNITY DEVELOPMEN­T INITIATIVE

Cork County Council in associatio­n with LCDC’s recently announced some of their grants, and Clondrohid Hall Committee were delighted to be one of the lucky recipients They received €15,000, so well done to all who helped in putting this applicatio­n together. Hopefully there will be more to follow.

COMMUNITY MEETINGS:

IRD Duhallow will hold a series of community meetings to give people an opportunit­y to discuss their ideas and plans for their communitie­s as well as hear of opportunit­ies. You are invited to attend a meeting in your locality, all meetings will be attended by representa­tives of IRD Duhallow Board and Staff.

The Meeting for Clondrohid Carriganim­a and surroundin­g areas will be held in the Community Hall Clondrohid on Monday Night April 1 at 8pm. IRD are asking that all groups in the Parish ( G.A.A. Recreation­al Facility, Hall Committee, Creche, Developmen­t Group, Active Retired ,Pastoral Council, Bord of Management, Parents Assoc., Text Alert, IFA, Political, etc ).be represente­d at this meeting, as well as those not involved in any organisati­on to attend so that IRD are best placed to support you. Your attendance and support at this Community meeting is very important to the area going forward.. Please mark it in your diary.
