Local lots up for grabs at online auction
THE virtual hammer is set to come down on a number of inviting and potentially lucrative lots from the north Cork area at the next Bid X1 online auction of residential and commercial property next Thursday (April 4).
Properties in Mallow, Kanturk and Charleville will be among the 146 lots that will be up for grabs over the course of the auction.
The first section of the auction, which will get underway at 9am, will be devoted to residential properties, with a trio of lots of local interest set to whet the appetites of investors with some cash to spare.
Lot number 32, a semi-detached, three-bedroom house at Garran na Dara, Kilbrin, will be up for grabs with a reserve of €95,000.
The two-story house, which extends to a total floor space of approximately 95 square metres, has off-street parking, a rear garden and is subject to a tenancy with a current rent of €4,800 per annum.
Lot number 41 is also a semi-detached three-bedroom house situated at Finisk, River Valley, Mallow, and will have a reserve of €145,000.
The well-maintained property has front and rear gardens, off-street parking and extends to approximately 100 square metres. While it is currently occupied, the auction catalogue lists the terms of the tenancy as ‘unknown’.
The final residential property of local interest, a three-bed semi at Cairn Woods, Ballviniter, Mallow, will have a reserve of €180,000.
As with the previous two lots, it is subject to a tenancy with a current annual rent of €8,160 per year.
The commercial section of the auction will see a residential development site at Dromina, Charleville, go under the hammer with a guide price of €85,000.
Situated off the R578, the site measures approximately 8.5 acres, and the site has lapsed planning permission for a mix of three terraced, six detached and 12 semi-detached houses.
Registration for the auction will open this Friday at 9am, and a bidding deposit of €4,500 will be required for each lot.
