Mitchelstown in ecxiting draw
MITCHELSTOWN Under-21 A footballers drew with Fermoy in the Under 21 A Football Championship at Kilworth on Saturday.
The final score was 3-9 to 2-12. ‘ Town’ trailed 2-5 to 1-6 at half time.
The draw means that Mitchelstown will face Charleville this weekend, with the winner meeting Kilshannig in the final.

Ballygiblin Junior A hurlers lost out to Ballyhooly in the opening round of the Division One Hurling League at Ballygiblin on Sunday, going down by six points.
The final score was 0-18 to 0-12.
At half time, Ballyhooly held a narrow lead, with the score at 0-8 to 0-7.

Kildorrery Intermediate hurlers had a 1-15 to 1-12 win over Midleton in the County Intermediate Hurling League at Kildorrery on Tuesday night under lights.
Midleton held a lead at the break, 1-7 to 0-5.
