Alice Considine (née White) The death occurred on March 21 at her residence, 7 O’Neill Crowley Terrace, Mitchelsto­wn, of Alica Considine (née White).

The late Alice was in her 92nd year. A popular member of the local community, she was predecease­d by her husband, Martin. There was a large and represente­d attendance at the Funeral on Friday evening at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Saturday.

Interment took place to the adjoining cemetery.

To her sons, Noel, Anthony, Seamy, Timmy and Mattie; daughters, Teresa, Marie and Delia; family; sons-in-law; daughters-in-law; grandchild­ren; great-grandchild­ren; great-great-grandchild­ren; nephews; nieces; relatives; neighbours; and many friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Bridget (Birdie) Walsh (née O’Donoghue)

The death occurred on March 23 at Marymount Hospice Cork of Bridget (Birdie) Walsh (née O’Donoghue).

The late Bridget was in her 82nd year. She was predecease­d by her husband, Denis.

She was a popular member of the farming community. There was a large and represente­d attendance at the Funeral on Sunday evening at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelsto­wn, and also at the Requiem Mass on Monday in the Parish Church. Interment took place to the adjoining cemetery.

To her sons, James, Paul and Fergal; daughter, Miriam (Goff ); son-in-law, Peter; daughter-in-law, Hannah; grandchild­ren, Oliver, Charlotte, Ebba-Sofia and Emmy-Rose; nephews; nieces; relatives; and a large circle of friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Tim Mulcahy

The death occurred on March 21 of Tim Mulcahy, Castleknoc­k, Dublin, and formerly of Upper Cork Street.

The late Tim was a noted footballer in his day, having the distinctio­n of playing for the Mitchelsto­wn Minor footballer­s in three county finals against St Finbarrs in 1959, 1960 and 1961. They were crowned county champions in 1960. There was a large attendance at the Funeral at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Sunday, and also at the Requiem Mass on Monday at St Mochta’s Church, Porterstow­n. Cremation took place at Glasnevin.

To his wife, Dwypna; daughters Audrey, Evelyn and Amy; son, Rory; daughter-in-law, Antonia; sons-in-law, Feargal and Liam; grandchild­ren, Max, Ava, Cal, Edward and Isla; sisters, Noelle and Carmel; brothers, John and Gerard; brothersin-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; relatives; extended family; and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.
